Gore-drenched lyrics are given a more technical face in heavy metal inspired grind which works through longer song structures to emphasis a storyline of decay, death and festering infection. Gutpuked vocals are balanced with an infernal shriek, and songs choke through complex structures with ease on their way to a final bloodbath scenario. Halfway between the raw ideas of Carcass and their ultimate destination as a Led Zeppelin cover band, this is the most listenable work from the UK grinders.
