In a highly intelligent move to block the excessive valuation of rare Angelcorpse material, the band released their demos, EPs and two live tracks to commemorate the life and death of this ripping death/grind band with black metal themes. The demos reveal a band producing offspring of Morbid Angel around "Altars of Madness" and Bathory at the time of "Blood, Fire, Death" in a guitar-intensive assault of speed and explosive power chord riffing. Cover songs are faithful yet calibrated to their new speed masters, with a few twists of the unpredictable, while paying homage to some of the great masters of the metal art. Comparatively rated, this CD and "Exterminate" constitute the best of this band.
