Hail,
More killer stuff on the edge of pure carnal reality. The death metal is
persistent, technical, scientifically-designed perversity for the unstable
soul while black metal is the chaotic roar from the abyss. Never forget,
ONLY DEATH IS REAL!
1. Gorgoroth - Antichrist (Malicious)
2. Setherial - Nord (Napalm)
3. Wicked Innocence - Omnipotence (Napalm)
4. Marduk - Heaven Shall Burn... (Osmose)
5. Satyricon/Enslaved - "Split" (Moonfog)
6. Dimmu Borgir - Stormblast (Cacophonous)
7. Pan-Thy-Monium - III (Khaooohs & Kon-fus-ion) (Relapse)
8. Immolation - Here In After (Metal Blade)
9. Demonic - Lead Us Into Darkness (Necropolis)
10. Rise - Shadow of Ruins (Nigma)
11. Impaled Nazarene - Latex Cult (Osmose)
12. Ritual - The Summoning (Wild Rags)
13. Rotting Christ - Triarchy of the Lost Lovers (Century Media)
14. Varathron - Walpurgisnacht (Unisound)
15. Molested - Blod-draum (Effigy)
Still a complete lineup of heavy stuff. If you like pure metallic screaming
mechanized death drill metal, MOLESTED mix heavy American-style pounding and
melody to produce a unique effect of alienation (bad acid + dentist).
IMPALED NAZARENE not only made the ultimate Motorhead tribute, but they made
it profound and listenable too - my favorite album from this band, period.
WICKED INNOCENCE continue to shock and please listeners with their heavy
groove, technical power, and amazingly bizarre composition. All killer
stuff! What a good time to be a metal DJ.
